heart-centered healing
bodywork, movement, and coaching for a more connected life
meet hakim
Hakim Noah is an expert bodyworker and spiritual guide with an intuitive touch that is connected, slow, and deeply healing. He has seven years experience working with clients as a bodyworker, spiritual guide, and movement teacher. He works best with clients who arrive with curiosity, a longing for transformation, and a willingness to enter into a collaborative healing relationship.
Hakim’s primary role is to serve each person’s highest self by reflecting back to them their own divine nature. In each session, his goal is to transmit unconditional love — through touch (bodywork), words (coaching/writing), and presence.
my philosophy
life is sacred.
movement is medicine.
(every)body holds the key to their own healing.
symptoms aren’t problems to be fixed, but signals to be listened to.
presence + anything = transformation
we are all deserving of love.
all of life is one.
bodywork
Hakim has seven years of experience working with many different body types and individual needs. More than just “a massage,” bodywork with Hakim is an opportunity to be held with love and without judgement. Hakim sees the body through a fascial lens — as an interconnected system in which no part is separate from the whole. He also believes that no symptom is purely physical, and true healing happens when we address the spiritual and emotional root of our dis-ease. His style blends deep tissue and myofascial release, but transcends both to create something truly unique. You can expect to experience long, slow strokes and holds, gentle rocking, plenty of face and head work, and attention to your specific needs. Many sessions end with the crystal sound bowls and/or tuning forks which live in our office.
foundation training
Foundation Training is a movement practice developed by Dr. Eric Goodman to reduce pain, restore natural posture, and decompress the spine.
Foundation Training uses a combination of powerful movements, intentional poses, and conscious breathing work to activate the muscles in your posterior chain. When practiced regularly, your pain diminishes, your resistance to injury increases, and your body comes to life:
🍑 Your torso, pelvis, and backside strengthen
🍐Your hips reclaim their intended role as the epicenter of movement
🦴 Your spine decompresses and space opens throughout your torso
🫁 Your breathing capacity and oxygen levels increase
💪 Your muscles learn to correctly support your structure and posture improves
🌈 Your whole body becomes integrated and moves more efficiently
When these things happen, a cascade of healthful changes happen in your body and your life. This program is not a temporary remedy, but a systematic solution that creates long-term health.
